This cover was commissioned by a teacher who wanted her students to see themselves reflected in stories—children of different cultures, appearances, and backgrounds playing, learning, and growing together.
I illustrated a group of joyful kids in bright, welcoming colors, surrounded by elements of nature that symbolize unity and growth. The design balances fun, childlike energy with a clear message of empathy, inclusivity, and togetherness, making it both inviting for young readers and meaningful for the classroom.
